Franklin E. first married Laura E. Blizzard. Born in 1856 in Ohio. Laura E. died in Kentucky in 1890; she was 34.

Thomas L.. Born in Jun 1879 in Wea, Tippecanoe, Indiana.

On 6 Dec 1890 when Franklin E. was 36, he second married Orpha L. Wood in Newton, Iroquois, Indiana. Born on 27 Jan 1872 in Illinois. Orpha L. died on 25 Feb 1942; she was 70.

28. Joseph William Ashby. Born on 4 Aug 1857 in Tippecanoe Co., Indiana. Joseph William died in Concord, De Kalb, Indiana, on 29 Jan 1934; he was 76. Buried in Tippecanoe Co, Indiana.
